Overview

The T. rex 4500 is another great example of collaboration between the customer and Traxxon’s custom design team. Our customer wanted an attachment that could drill two holes simultaneously or independently and still have the versatility of an excavator drill. The final product was a resounding success.

To allow for different drill patterns, spacing between the two drill feeds can be altered using the automated telescopic slide, both drill feeds move up and down independently to accommodate for uneven ground conditions, and tilt, swing and dump functions allow the operator to drill a wide pattern without tramming the excavator. All functions are controlled in or out of the excavator with a rugged and reliable radio remote.
